Organically grown on our Hobby Farm in the Tamar Valley of Tasmania. An indeterminate cherry tomato that grows prolifically and requires staking and a warm environment to grow. Tomatoes are a warm season, frost tender annual plants. Seeds require a warm soil of between 18 - 28°C to germinate. Sowing at too low a temperature will cause delayed or failed germination. ‘Lemon Drop’ is a most flavorful, yellow currant tomato. Very nice sweet/tart complement in a bright yellow 3/8″ diameter fruit. Selected best yellow for great flavor and yield. This wild tomato from South America is actually Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium. Tall and indeterminate plants.
