Romulea Hirsuta "Satin Flower" x Fresh Seed

A lovely winter growing South African native with stiff narrow and occasionally hairy foliage and charming old rose , deep pink or red flowers 15 to 25mm wide in Spring over a long period. One of the hardier and easier species to grow , multiplying very slowly but producing copious amounts of fresh seed which germinates easily in Autumn and with good care flowering can be achieved as early as the following Spring. Hardy enough to try as a border or edge plant in a very well drained garden , though possibly better appreciated in pots kept on the dry side during summer.
